Williams Wildland Fire Services has professionals on staff to provide all facets of the planning and consulting process for the following:

Comprehensive Fire Management Plans or specific Pre-suppression Plans for private and corporate landowners as well as governmental entities.

 

Firewise Community Consulting for homeowners associations, civic organizations, as well as municipal, county, and tribal governments.

​

Prescribed Fire Plans and permitting for any entity or individual desiring to restore ecological health, improve wildlife habitat, and decrease the threat of a catastrophic wildfire event on their land.

Community Widlfire Protection Plans (CWPP)

 

Hazard Lot Assessment for wildfire risks and WUI code compliance purposes.

​

Defensible Space/Wildland Urban Interface Planning including development of landscape level plans in order to prepare for wildfires.

​

Disaster or Emergency Response Plans as well as Continuity of Operations Plans for emergency management purposes.

​

Wildlife Habitat Enhancement Plans as well as Forest Management Plans (FMP)and Forest Inventory Analysis (FIA) services.

​

Health and Safety Consulting such as Annual Workplace Inspections including for unsafe or unhealthful working conditions.

WWFS has multiple personnel on staff who are skilled in the utilization of a variety of Geographic Information System (GIS) software as well as mobile Geographic Positioning System (GPS) units. These personnel are capable of creating professional quality mapping to support any service provided by WWFS. Examples of the types of maps produced include wildfire, prescribed fire, wildlife habitat, and timber stand maps, to name a few.

WWFS consultants/planners possess the prerequisite incident experience and qualifications to be credible, in addition to having backgrounds in professional technical writing and resource/land management planning.
